THE CHIMNEY
AND OVEN PROJECT

Repinin talo on aika korkea,
kun siinä on 2 kerrosta ja
korkea, jyrkkä katto. Taisto
joutui kiipeilemään työtä
tehdessä korkeilla tellingeillä
ja Repinin reippaat asukkaat
auttoivat parhaan kykynsä
mukaan isommasta pienimpään.

The house of Repini is quite high
and the roof steep. Taisto had to
climp on high scaffolds and the agile
inhabitants of Repini, both big and
small, helped according their skills.

Matkustimme Latviaan elokuussa ensin 2 viikkoa ja syyskuussa palasimme jatkamaan piippu & takka-leivinuuniprojektia vielä runsaalla viikolla.

Toivomme. että takka-leivinuunin lämpö ilahduttaa jatkossa Repinissä asuvia, sekä kaikkia niitä, jotka osallistuvat siellä järjestettyyn hengelliseen toimintaan.

We travelled to Latvia in August for 2 weeks to make a new chimney & heating and baking oven and came back to complete the project for over one week in September.

We do hope that the warmth of the new oven would give joy and heat to those living in Repini and all those, who are taking part of the spiritual avtivities held on the farm.

Perheen nuorimmainen matkalla ensimmäistä kertaa seurakuntaan asuntoauton kyydillä.

The youngest of the family on her first way to church in the mobile home.

Taisto jaksoi vielä todistaa kahden tulkin välityksellä,
vaikka oli väsynyt kovasta urakasta.

Although Taisto was tired after hard work,
he was sharing his testimony in the church through two translators.
